ঈদ মোবারক
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
When the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) came to Medina, the people had two days on which they engaged in games.
He asked: What are these two days (what is the significance)?
They said: We used to engage ourselves on them in the pre-Islamic period.
The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said:
Allah has substituted for them something better than them, the day of sacrifice and the day of the breaking of the fast.
আনাস ইবনে মালেক (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত;
তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ(সা.) (হিজরত করে) মদীনায় আগমন করে দেখলেন, মদীনাবাসীদের খেলাধুলা ও আনন্দ উৎসবের জন্য দুটি দিন নির্দিষ্ট আছে;
রাসুলুল্লাহ(সা.) জিজ্ঞেস করলেন- এ দুটি দিনের ব্যাপার কি?
সবাই বললেন, জাহিলী যুগে আমরা এ দিন দুটিতে খেলাধুলা করতাম;
রাসুলুল্লাহ(সা.) বললেন-
আল্লাহ তোমাদের এ দিন দু'টিকে পাল্টিয়ে এর চাইতে উত্তম দু'টি দিন দান করেছেন- ঈদুল আযহা ও ঈদুল ফিতরের দিন.
Narated By 'Aisha :
It was the day of 'Id, and the Black people were playing with shields and spears;
So either I requested the Prophet (p.b.u.h) or he asked me whether I would like to see the display. I replied in the affirmative.
Then the Prophet (p.b.u.h) made me stand behind him and my cheek was touching his cheek and he was saying, "Carry on! O Bani Arfida," till I got tired. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) asked me, "Are you satisfied (Is that sufficient for you)?"
I replied in the affirmative and he told me to leave.
হযরত আয়েশা (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত;
তিনি বলেন, ঈদের দিনে সুদানীরা (হাবসীরা)বর্শা এবং ঢালের খেলা খেলত;(একবার) হয় রাসুলুল্লাহ(সা.)-এর কাছে আরজ করেছিলাম বা তিনি নিজেই বলেছিলে, তুমি কি (তাদের) খেলা দেখতে চাও? আমি বললাম, হ্যা তারপর তিনি আমাকে তার পিছনে এমনভাবে দাঁড় করিয়ে দিলেন যে, আমার গাল ছিল তার গালের উপর;
তিনি তাদেরকে বলছিলেন, (খেলা) চালাও হে বনু আরফিদা! (হাবসীদের উপাধি) অবশেষে আমি ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়লে তিনি আমাকে বললেন, কি তোমার (দেখা) হয়েছে? আমি বললাম, হ্যা; তিনি বললেন, তা হলে চলে যাও;
